چکیده
Introduction High quality corn silage depends on factors such as type, stage of crop development at harvest time, fermentation in addition to use or not inoculants. This study aimed investigate the impact maturity stage, bacterial inoculation, and storage time fermentation, aerobic stability, nutritional characteristics flint their implications for management. Methods A hybrid was harvested very early, medium (at 250, 300 350 g dry matter (DM)/kg fed, respectively) ensiled mini-silos without (control) with Lentilactobacillus buchneri CNCM I-4323 1 × 10 5 cfu/g 120, 240 360 d how these interact each other. Results discussion There only a small increase (7 g/kg starch; p = 0.003) starch digestibility (starch-D) silages stored when compared that d, but no difference 120 d. Despite reduced starch-D (526 vs. 694 < 0.001), produced from had higher ( 0.001) content (317 137 DM) amount digestible (169 98.5 DM; early harvest. The 2-way interactions (inoculation time) showed inoculation L. increased more mature stability (140 h; 0.036) than others (118 48.5 h those harvest). Conclusion longer (>120 d) goal increasing did occur. Harvesting whole-crop DM is desirable have yield accumulation. Inoculation recommended preserve against deterioration. has shown importance harvesting right need ensure greater yield, accumulation, preservation, if days are exceeded.

Effects of combining Lactobacillus buchneri 40788 with various lactic acid bacteria on the fermentation and aerobic stability of corn silage
The objective was to compare the effectiveness of combining Lactobacillus buchneri 40788 with three lactic acid bacteria on the fermentation, aerobic stability and nutritive value of corn silage. Freshly chopped whole plant corn was untreated or treated with L. buchneri 40788 paired with Lactobacillus plantarum, Pediococcus acidilactici, or Pediococcus pentosaceus. L. buchneriwas added to achie...
متن کاملWilting and inoculation of Lactobacillus buchneri on intercropped triticale-fava silage: effects on nutritive, fermentative and aerobic stability characteristics
This study investigated the effects of wilting and Lactobacillus buchneri inoculation on fermentation end products, DM recovery, nutritive characteristics and aerobic stability in organically grown triticale-fava bean intercrop silages. For this purpose, a bi-crop of triticale (× Triticosecale Wittm.) and fava bean (Vicia faba L.) was established on an old low-input mixed sward (Lolium perenne-...
متن کاملEffect of microbial inoculation of high-moisture corn on fermentation characteristics, aerobic stability, and cattle performance.
Two trials were conducted to evaluate the effects of microbial inoculation for preservation of high-moisture corn (HMC). In Trial 1, three concrete, upright silos were filled with 83 t of HMC that was treated with either a dry microbial inoculant (DI), reconstituted liquid microbial inoculant (RLI), or an untreated control (CON). The CON or RLI-treated HMC were placed in two silos in Trial 2. B...
متن کاملEffects of maturity stage and lactic acid bacteria on the fermentation quality and aerobic stability of Siberian wildrye silage
It is difficult to make good quality of silage from alpine gramineous from the Qinghai Tibetan plateau. The effects of lactic acid bacteria (LAB) on the fermentation quality and aerobic stability of Siberian wildrye silage were studied in southeast of the Qinghai Tibetan plateau. Siberian wildrye materials were freshly cut at the sprouting stage, flowering stage, and milky stage. Silage was pre...
متن کاملThe effect of bacteria, enzymes and inulin on fermentation and aerobic stability of corn silage
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES Ensiling is a conservation method for forage crops. It is based on the fact that anaerobe lactic acid bacteria (LAB) convert watersoluble carbohydrates into organic acids. Therefore, pH decreases and the forage is preserved. The aim of this study was to isolate special kinds of lactic acid bacteria from silage and to study the effect of bacteria, inulin and enzymes as ...
